Village Board Meeting Back

On 7th October 2018 a village Board meeting was conducted. There were six board members for the meeting. The meeting started with a prayer followed by the welcome address by Ms. Seethamma. The meeting focused on the urgent need to open the main account in nearest bank for the Society and opening the new accounts in the society. The date for opening new account was fixed for 21st October at FIDES office. In order to make the functioning of bank easier the Board members decided to open an account in nearest bank. As a result all approved to open main account in SBI bank, Avalahalli and the operating of Society account by Ms. Swopna and Ms. Seethamma. It was mentioned that the rules and regulations of the bank would be the same as other banks. The time fixed for functioning of the bank was between 10:00 Am to 1:00 PM. The decision of the board members to have a joint account in order to make the functioning easier was welcomed. The discussion on the Jubilee celebration of FIDES was another focus point. All the board members were asked to start preparation for the jubilee celebration. Another point for discussion was the repayment of loan taken by few SHG members. Some people are not able to pay the loan back. So the board decided to request them once again and if there is no more response, then it was Agreed to move according to the law. The next board meeting determined to have the board meetings on all the first Saturdays at 3:30 PM according to the convenience of members. A general body meeting for the village groups was convened to have on 14th October 2018 at 11:00 AM. The meeting also increased and awareness to add few more new groups, especially, to increase the savings of SHG groups. Once again, the board meeting will be held on 14th October after the general body to make some more clarity of thoughts within the groups. There were few volunteers to prove refreshment for the people who are participating in general body meeting.
