Sr. Nancy's death anniversary
On July 14th, 2021, FIDES commemorated the death anniversary of Sr. Nancy, the founder, by recalling all the work she had done for the poor and needy people. All of the staff and sisters prayed at Sr. Nancy's tomb for the better functioning of FIDES and for her blessings on all of FIDES activities.

There were further festivities in Kaverinagar and Halsur, when all board members and federation members recalled their experiences and expressed deep gratitude to Sr. Nancy, who is no longer living. They also made numerous requests for different intentions to Sr. Nancy. Sr. Sumi, the director of FIDES, attended the apex body meeting in Halsur and spoke about the third wave of COVID 19.

Following that, the apex board meeting took place at Kaverinagar, with around 20 women in attendance.The gathering began with a brief prayer and a one- minute silence to express condolences for Sr. Nancy, as well as to recall her work and struggles in empowering women and emphasising the value of education. Sr.Vennila then led a discussion regarding the third wave of the Corona virus. She discussed how to protect children from the clutches of covid- 19, as the third wave may have a greater impact on youngsters, and she emphasised the need of providing healthy meals to children, appropriate sanitization, and regular use of masks. Finally, she advised them to be mindful of other family members and to take care of their children.
