Medical CampBack
The medical camp was held in three places from 6th to 8th of August 2015. The places included were Halasuru, Kaverinagar and Bandapura. The camp was conducted by FIDES in collaboration with expertise treatments from Dr.Micheal and Dr.Wesley of USA. The major intentions of the camp included awareness of various known and unknown diseases to the villagers and provide treatment for minor diseases in the area. Both the young and old turned up for checkups with the eagerness to keep them fit by waiting in the long queues. The doctors said that they had a great experience working with them as they were cooperative and willing to follow the guidelines for a healthy life including periodic checkups. The doctors also gave awareness about diseases that could be contagious and methods to prevent it. There were around 250 villagers including the children who turned up for the medical checkup. The initiative was successful with the active involvement of the people gathered.
