VISIT OF SR. LUCY ROSE IN HALSOOR -2016Back

Sr. Lucy Rose the Visiting Councilor of Salesian sisters from Italy visited the social work region of FIDES in Ulsoor on 17th September 2016.It is a golden opportunity for her to see and experience the fruits of the social work among the poor people of Ulsoor. FIDES was the brain child of Sr. Nancy Periera of holy memory. The presence of Sr. Lucy Rose brought new vigor and enthusiasm among the people who were gathered in the community hall. It gave much confidence among the people and staff. Sr. Lucy Rose exhorted them recalling the dream of the founder of FIDES, Rev. Sr. Nancy Periera. The women gathered expressed their gratitude in continuing the social work for the uplift of the poor even after the death of Sr. Nancy with much precision and care. In her message, Sr. Lucy Rose, encouraged the young and old to become leaders who can solve the problems of the society. She underlined the need of praying every day, aiming high in life, overcoming the hardships with determination to build a better world around us. As programed earlier the children and young people entertained the assemble with their talents of rhythmic steps.
