Bank inauguration in Kaverinagar-2017 Back

One of the dreams of Sr. Nancy has come true on 05-03-2017 in Kaverinagar. The Bank inauguration started by invoking the blessings of Almighty God. The inauguration of the Bank was done by Sr. Celine FMA, the elected Provincial of Salesian sisters Bangalore and Sr. Bridgit FMA, the former directress of FIDES. The programme also was adorned with the presence of the current FIDES directress, Sr. Sumi Joseph FMA, superior Sr. Anna Chacko FMA, Sr. Manjil FMA and Sr. Sheela FMA. All the staff from FIDES and the community members from Kaverinagr were the leading pillars of the programme. The staff of FIDES and the SHG community from Kaverinagar expressed their gratitude towards Salesian sisters for helping them to start up a bank for the welfare of the people. The long visionary Sr. Nancy FMA, the Founder of FIDES, had a great desire to help the poor people to sustain themselves through different programmes and activities. It was a desire of Sr. Nancy to start a bank in order to make transactions of SHG group money in the group itself. The purpose of this process is to keep the women strong, independent, responsible and great achievers in the journey of life. The guests of the day in their speech clearly mentioned that the bank has started with the presence of invisible Sr. Nancy amidst the gathering. Moreover it was specified that the accomplishment of starting a bank is built by blessings of Sr. Nancy. A ceremony of depositing the first amount in the bank by the SHG members also was done on the occasion of inauguration.
