Award Ceremony Back
Karnataka Sahitya Parishath chose 18 people who contributed towards the growth and promotion of Kannada literature and social development. The chosen awardees were from various fields like Kannada literature, poetry, art, medical, social service etc. The annual celebration was held in Hoodi Sri Nanjamma Govind Reddy Kalayan Mandapa. The day began by welcoming the invitees and awardees, talks by resource persons, cultural programmes and concluded with the awarding ceremony. Sr. Sumi was one among them to receive the award for the service done for the people in 10 villages and 2 slums of the locality. It was indeed a memorable day for FIDES to receive the award. Sr. Anna Chacko, the directoress of Sacred Heart Convent too participated in this celebration.
