A NEW INITIATIVEBack

The building workers children who were roaming in the campus because their parents are at work were gathered by Sr. Agnes and Sr. Venila on 8 th July with the intention of teaching them to read and write. The objective of this programme is to give basic education and admit them into the government schools. There were 6 of them. The children were very happy and eager to learn. One of them is handicapped as both her legs are paralysed and she has to be carried by someone. But she is very eager and interested to join her friends and walk about as well as study. Sisters promised to help her.
