International women's day report
International women's day was actually marked on March 8, despite the fact the International Women's Day had been observed at the FIDES vocational training centre on March 12. Women's Day is celebrated to raise awareness of the dignity and equality, of the women toward whom we offer services. On International Women's Day, the chief guest and guest of honor were welcomed to the programme by the students to the centre by Kumba Arathi. 

There were approximately 200 energetic women from several villages who flooded the space. All were wearing vibrant saris. At 11.30 am, the program began. The event's speakers and the women assembled to celebrate were welcomed by Sr. Sumi Joseph, the directress of FIDES. The provincial of Bangalore province, Sr. Lucy Rose, made a brief remark on International Women's Day with her encouraging and motivational talk.

The creative presentation of the FIDES activities gave an idea for all the gathering the amount of uplift done in the lives of women and children specially to the Migrants, After giving the audience a creative presentation of the operations of FIDES, we congratulated all the donors who provided financial and material support for the advancement of the various FIDES programmes. Following that, several enjoyable events were planned to make Women's Day special and memorable. The events were planned to provide all the women an opportunity to display their skills and talents. , the guest of honor Mrs. Matilda Francis D'Couza in her moving speech on equality exhorted the audience to venture out into the world and take on challenges.

The session concluded with a motivated thought, which goes like this: Let's all be an inspiration to one another and work together to create a better world. The day came to a conclusion with a lot of happy memories that radiated in several hearts.
