Inauguration of the new FIDES building
September 9 th was a memorable and unforgettable day where we had the inauguration of the new FIDES building. We were all privileged to have in our midst our mother General, Sr. Chiara and the Visiting Councillors for the inauguration. The event began with the procession from the entrance of the provincial chapel. Women from SHGs were standing on both sides of the road with rose petals to welcome the guest of the day. IT was headed by the students of ShishuMandir who performed the Dollu Kunitha till the entrance of the building. The unveiling of the plaque, cutting the ribbon and inauguration of this long desired building of FIDES was by Mother Chiara! All glory and praise to God for His manifold blessings!

The invited guest for the day were Mother General, General Councillors, Msgr C. Francis, Dr.Vanitha, all our dear Sisters, SHG members, youth and children for this important event. An Introduction speech was given about this building by Sr.Monica. At this moment we raised our hearts in Thanks to Divine Providence, because of whom today we have this building concretized with the help of Don Bosco Mondo that has financed a major part of the amount. The building will be utilized for Training in various skills, for various programmes for women, youth and children. At the end of the programme Sr. Ruth, the in charge for the women in the institute, addressed the women and encouraged them to be courageous enough to face the difficulties of life.
