Health Camp

The Medical Camp held on 11th September 2023 at FIDES Hall that commenced at 11 am and continued until 4 p.m. The day began with the registration of participants, ensuring a systematic approach to managing the crowd. It was a collaborative effort organized by St. Joseph's University MSW Students in partnership with St. Martha's Hospital and supported by FIDES Trust. The initiative aimed at providing medical assistance to the community and was specifically beneficial to 150 men, children, and women, including migrant women and children under the care of FIDES and Auxilium Punar Jeevan members.

Eight teams of medical professionals, led by a qualified doctor, conducted comprehensive health check-up for all participants. This included BMI measurements and thorough assessments for any underlying health issues. Special attention was given to children, who were provided with nutrition powder before their BMI assessments. This proactive approach towards children's health reflects the camp's commitment to holistic well-being.

Throughout the event, medical check-ups were interspersed with the distribution of snacks, creating a comfortable and supportive environment for all attendees.

This camp stands as a testament to the commitment of St. Joseph's University MSW Students, St. Martha's Hospital, and FIDES Trust in promoting community health. By reaching out to 150 individuals, including vulnerable populations, the camp has made a positive impact on the well- being of the community.
