Christmas celebration began in FIDES campus, Bandapura at 11.30 am. on Dec 19.
Christmas is a season of sharing. It’s also a time of parties. A Season of sharing! The Lord Himself took the lead to share- sharing His own Son with humanity. We follow His example and need to do the same. This is what FIDES did during this Christmas Season. They rolled up their sleeves to share Christ – the Prince of Peace- with the people of Bandapura. They made it a feast for the souls with apt messages and by distributing cakes and fruits.

On 19 Dec FIDES campus, Bandapura was filled with children with happy faces. The youth prepared themselves to celebrate the joy of Christmas with these children. The celebration began at 11.30 am. The children enjoyed to the full the dances and Christmas drama. The youth entertained them by singing meaningful carols. Their joy reached the height singing and dancing with Santa Claus. Sr. Monica, the Superior of the House gave them the message exhorting them to be ‘peace-makers and not peace-breakers’. The children were happy to receive fruits and cake pieces also ‘kesaribath’. As the children dispersed happily, the youth were happier that they were able to increase the joy of the children during this Christmas.
