Auxilium Youth Movement Sports Day

The Auxilium Youth Movement Sports Day held on January 28, 2024, saw enthusiastic participation from three different villages – FIDES Youth, Kaverinagar Youth, and Halasuru Youth, totalling 110 participants, including volunteers and animators.

The event commenced with the registration process, followed by a grand inauguration ceremony. Sr. Alice Chacko and Sr. Sumi Joseph graced the occasion as esteemed guests of honour. The inauguration featured a prayer, the lighting of the lamp, and an insightful talk by Sr. Alice. Mr. Benny, one of the volunteers, explained the Rules and Regulations, and Mr. Tony led all participants in the oath-taking ceremony, guided by Sr. Rani, the Regional Youth In charge.

Following the inauguration, everyone moved to the sports ground for the day's activities. The first session included a thrilling volleyball competition for boys among the villages, along with throw ball competitions for girls. Carom board games were also organized for both boys and girls, with refreshing juice and light snacks provided in between. Before lunch, an exciting tug of war took place for both boys and girls.

Post-lunch, the second session featured leg cricket for the boys. The day also included the election of core members from different villages, with Ms. Anupriya as the President, Shruthy as Vice President, Vicky as the Secretary, Dominic as the Treasurer, and Vishvini as the Media representative.

For the program's conclusion, Sr. Superior Sherly Joseph and FIDES Director Sr. Sumi Joseph joined as esteemed guests. The prize distribution ceremony saw Kaverinagar lifting the rolling trophy. A memorable photo session with the sisters marked the conclusion of the day, followed by Tea and snacks, fostering camaraderie and celebrating the success of the Auxilium Youth Movement Sports Day.
