Anti Drugs Day Celebration

World Drug Day was established to commemorate the efforts made by individuals, communities, and organizations to rehabilitate those suffering from drug abuse and prevent the illicit trafficking of drugs. Throwing light to this FIDES had organized an Anti Drug day Celebration along with the Skill Training Students by hosting a Poster making competition and a Rally to the local village spreading awareness against drug abuse. Sr Sumi Joseph the Director of FIDES started the day with a powerful message speaking about the Importance of Anti Drugs Day. Following this was a rally to the local village leading our paths to FIDES Auxilium Punar Jeevan – De Addiction Center. The HOD of FIDES APJ Sr Agnes Fernandez joined us by telling out the slogans like “Say no to Drugs” etc. Along with them was Mr Vinod the De Addiction Counselor an expert in counseling, he spoke about the importance of awaking our inner self to pull us away from these unhealthy practices. Following this all the staff and students marched back to FIDES reciting the slogans. That’s how Anti Drugs Day celebration came to an end.
