APEX BODY MEETING AT KAVERINAGAR

On April 30, 2024, Apex Body Meeting was held in Kaverinagar. Mr. Samuel and Mrs. Arputha Mary from FIDES led the discussion. The main focus was on the functioning of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in the area.

The discussion mainly centred around the timing and manner of conducting SHG meetings. Mr. Samuel and Mrs. Arputha Mary assessed the regularity and effectiveness of SHG meetings. They provided guidance on how to improve the functioning of these groups. Areas needing improvement were identified.

Attendees were given guidance on how to conduct SHG meetings more effectively. This included tips on agenda setting, discussions, and maintaining records. Following the meeting, attendees were given some biscuits and Women’s Horlicks to promote health and well-being of the women.
